Oldskulowy survival horror inspirowany przedstawicielami gatunku z pierwszych lat „życia” PS2. W Ground Zero wcielamy się w dwójkę agentów z Korei Południowej i Kanady, którzy prowadzą śledztwo w mieście Busan, zdewastowanym przez meteoryt i opanowanym przez krwiożercze monstra.
W Ground Zero trafiamy do Korei Południowej, a dokładnie – miasta Busan, stanowiącego epicentrum uderzenia niszczycielskiego meteorytu. Dwa miesiące po katastrofie, po ustaniu burz i nawałnic pyłowych, dwójka agentów zostaje wysłana na miejsce, by przeprowadzić tam śledztwo. Ich zadaniem jest odkrycie, co tak naprawdę uderzyło w miasto, czym są dziwne narośle oraz skąd wzięły się maszkary, które opanowały ten obszar.[/center]
