Czwarta część serii zręcznościowych gier sportowych, poświęconych baseballowi. Największą nowością wprowadzoną w Super Mega Baseball 4 jest ponad 200 byłych gwiazd baseballu, które dołączają do fikcyjnych zawodników Super Mega League All-Stars.
Rozgrywka w Super Mega Baseball 4 opiera się na schemacie znanym z poprzednich części serii. Tytuł łączący więc zręcznościową mechanikę inspirowaną pozycjami z automatów z realistyczną symulacją fizyki piłki oraz złożonym systemem statystyk. Te ostatnie opisują poszczególnych zawodników, a także odzwierciedlają ich skuteczność na poszczególnych pozycjach, którą możemy zwiększać, zatrudniając trenerów.
Na liście nowych elementów wprowadzonych w opisywanej pozycji prym wiedzie ponad 200 byłych legend baseballu, jak Ozzie Smith, Jason Giambi, Valdimir Guerrero czy Johnny Damon, którzy dołączają do fikcyjnych postaci z Super Mega League All-Stars. Oprócz tego autorzy rozszerzyli system cech oraz wprowadzili wskaźnik zgrania drużyny. Ponadto na sprawdzenie czeka tu 6 zupełnie nowych stadionów.
